The two-day G20 Startup20 Shikhar Summit was held for the very first time in Gurgaon with more than 600 people, including 200 international delegates from the G20 nations and six invitee nations. This is a first-of-its-kind event that was part of an initiative our Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, launched back in 2016, designed to increase the capital for startup ecosystems to one trillion dollars by 2030.
Members of the Biocube Technologies executive team, including CEO Mr. Ashutosh Agarwal, VP of Strategy Mr. Indranil Paul, AVP of Business Development Mr. Sumit Bajaj, and AVP of Strategy Mr. Amaresh Gautam, hosted our company’s next-gen multifactor, multimodal, and contactless biometric technology innovations during the summit.
During the meeting, our CEO, Mr. Agarwal, was part of a five-member panel discussing on “The Future of AI: Effective Strategy for Its Regulation & Governance.” He provided insights into the new developments and trends in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Big Data Analytics, Generative AI, Contactless Biometrics, and further modernizing technologies that are shaping the business environment for future generations.

Our CEO, Mr. Agarwal, also provided insights into the tremendous impact that technological innovation is having on day-to-day business operations, starting from attendance all the way up to payments. The 30-minute discussion ended with an emphasis on the role that technology like artificial intelligence has in ensuring self-governance and self-regulation.
Our VP of Strategy, Mr. Indranil Paul, had an interview at our POD following the panel discussion. He spoke of the journey of start-ups and the fact that they have a solid vision and inspiration behind their creation; what are the typical challenges and learnings of entrepreneurs in start-ups, in particular how to deal with failure; how the Government of India (GoI) has enabled a holistic ecosystem in the country for the growth of innovation and start-ups; and how, in today’s dynamic startup ecosystem, Biocube is taking a look at the possibilities for future growth.
Our team’s participation at the Startup20 Shikhar Summit ended on the second day after our interns from the Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT) witnessed so many emerging startups, heard their unique ideas, and got valuable insights from the industry leaders and entrepreneurs of the startup fraternity.
